Leads the technology assessment of the due diligence to acquire a large international MVAS company with presence in 6 countries (reducing final offer by 79%), and the operation take over (carried out in 3 months and saving 7M€/year in operating costs, i.e. 70% savings)

Gustavo López leads the technology part of the alternatives assessment for launching a third mobile operator in Bulgaria, designing the new IT backend and front end architecture and GSM / CDMA450 network solution blue print and developing the technology part of the business plan for both technologies (GSM and CDMA450). Gustavo López also participates in the development of GSM license in Europe benchmark for the Bulgarian regulator.

Gustavo López coordinated the definition of processes and technical requirements for ULL (Unbundling Local Loop).

Gustavo acts as the Interim director of IT Infrastructure and Operations, defining the three main Data Centers nation wide and carrying out their roll out, the nation wide data network (to support backend and GSM network data needs), prepares the RFP, negotiates with vendors and executes the corporate network deployment.
Gustavo also leads the Business Simulation project (verification of the company readiness for Launch), operating the full company (from handset ordering, distribution, selling, line activation, line usage, billing, and leaving) to verify all areas launch readiness, detecting problems in the operation, assessing and coordinating fixes required to ensure the launch readiness.
